Q: Are teenagers and women allowed to trim or thread the eyebrows?

A: A lady should not trim her eyebrows, get it trimmed by someone else, nor should she trim the eyebrows of others. The Hadeeth has forbidden these acts and such people have been cursed in the Hadeeth. (Al Bahrur Raa'iq V16 P78)

Threading will also not be permitted because it is imitation of non Muslims and this too has been forbidden in Hadeeth.

Q: If we keep a beard according to the Sunnah is it ok to cut the hair on the neck? Also can we shape the beard?

A: Trimming the beard to a fist length is permissible and preferable according to the Hanafi Fuqahaa.

Trimming it to a fist length is proven from the Salaf as mentioned by Sayyidina Hasan Basri (Rahmatullaahi Alayh) (Musannaf Abdur Razzaaq). Abu Zur’ah narrates that Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallaahu Anhu) trimmed his beard in excess of a fist length.

When the beard is trimmed to a fist length, automatically it will take shape.

The hair on the neck can be removed.

Q: Are we allowed to wear coloured contact lenses just for the husband/wife?

A: Wearing colour contact lenses for the husband/wife will be permissible. And Allah knows best

Q: I have a problem with my eye: the colour has changed due to an injury. Can I get an eye-tattoo to make my eye colour back to its original colour. It's very different and my doctor said I can get it done so I am just asking to make sure that is is not haram.

A: It will be permissible to use eye tattoo to bring your eyes back to its original colour. It will not be permissible to use such tattoo or dye to change the colour of the eye from its original colour or shade
